Wickersham was honored to be awarded the Hersheypark 2023 Attraction project!
This exciting project was an overhaul of Hersheypark’s “Wildcat” rollercoaster, now nicknamed the “Wildcat’s Revenge”.
Wildcat’s Revenge is classified as a “hybrid” coater as it combines the existing wooden framework with a new steel track! Other new modifications were added to the ride to make it more thrilling than ever. The coaster boasts speeds of 62 MPH, a 140-foot climb, and a whopping 82-degree drop.
This project involved selective demolition for all ride features, excluding the track itself, which was handled by others. Wickersham was contracted for the concrete ride foundations, complete renovations and additions to the ride station, queue lines, and associated features. We added a two-story maintenance garage to the ride station for storage and maintenance of the All work was completed simultaneously and within a very short time frame over the 2022-2023 winter season to open in time for the Spring grand-opening. We have completed several ride attraction projects for Hersheypark and it’s one of our favorite local places to perform.
