Wickersham Construction was the general contractor awarded the two-phase renovation project for the sixth floor annex at the Fulton Financial Corporate building in downtown Lancaster, PA. Phase one of the project included all new finishes, workstations, private offices, water bottle filling stations, open and private conference rooms and restroom upgrades. Phase two included a new coffee bar and pantry, private offices, a conference area and open workstations. Glass and glazing was an add-on to the project and included the replacement of sixteen (16) windows on the sixth floor of the building.
This project presented some challenges as it took place during the covid-19 pandemic. Wickersham’s safety committee put forth tremendous effort in adapting to new regulations and providing solutions to continue all essential projects safely and effectively. Hand-wash stations, sanitizing machines, employee-screenings and additional PPE were a few of the new protocols put into action immediately. This renovation project was put on hold for several months because it was not deemed essential, however when the project resumed, all safety measures mentioned above were put into place to carry out the project.
Both phases were completed successfully and to the owner’s satisfaction. We are grateful for the opportunity to work with the Fulton Financial Corporation on an outstanding and rewarding project.
