Wickersham Construction was awarded the design-build package for the Alro Steel – Office Expansion project. The 11,300 SF expansion includes large locker rooms, employee break-room, private executive offices, restrooms and conference space. The planning and design phases of this project were crucial to meet the owner’s budget and functional vision of the office addition. We teamed up with MK Architects and RRD PE Corp for architectural and engineering services. Together, we worked with the owner to design the building addition based around employee and executive needs.
Planning this project in phases was critical to allow the facility to continue daily functions without disruption. The completion of the new building addition allows the executive team and office employees to move into their new office space, so that their existing offices can be renovated. The existing office renovation will be phase 3 of the Alro Steel overhaul project and is currently under construction.
